Our greatest asset is our staff of WGA award winning writers including Dalene Young, Jeff Bergquist and Jon Mercedes. We have a library of literary properties available for optioning, acquiring to purchasing for major motion picture and TV development.

Brandon Duracher     -     President (Executive)     
 

Brandon Duracher’s entertainment experience is extensive and substantial; his accomplishments are varied. As a professional model in Los Angeles and a gifted actor, he has played opposite such names as Judd Nelson, Robert Carradine and Jeremy London, to name a few. His accomplishments can be seen at BrandonDuracher.com.

As President of his production company, BRANDON ENTERTAINMENT, Brandon is currently developing four screenplays for his starring written by Dalene Young, four by Jeff Bergquist and three by Jon Mercedes.

Brandon is also vice-president of THE SCREENPLAY READERS COMPANY, founder and President of the SCREENPLAY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, and a junior consultant at ENTERTAINMENT CONSULTING SERVICES. Brandon is a member of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, SAG/AFTRA, Women in Film, SAG/AFTRA Film Society Los Angeles and the TV Academy Film Society.



Jeff Bergquist     -     Director of Creative Development (Executive)     
 

Published and produced playwright, prize-winning poet, lyricist, librettist, and short story author; novelist; multi-optioned screenwriter; producer of theater, video, micro-budget features and short films, Jeff Bergquist has served as Artistic Director of New Playwrights Foundation since 1985.

He received his Associate of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing at Colorado Mountain College, where he was Editor-in-Chief of CMC's arts/literary magazine and received awards for excellence in Creative Writing and Drama. As Feature Writer/Editor of the Estes Park Trail newspaper, he won Colorado Press awards for Best Feature Article and Best Editor.

After earning a BA in Theater Arts at Colorado State University, Jeff obtained his MFA in Screenwriting at the American Film Institute's Center for Advanced Film Studies. At AFI he was awarded a full tuition waiver for the first year, and was one of only three students chosen to continue for a second year and complete the Master's degree. Since writing two original feature-length films at AFI, he has authored over 100 literary works, including plays, screenplays, novels, and treatments.

Commissioned feature film screenplays include The Last Contender, That Summer, Charles and Me, Operation Dragonfly, and When I Go Home for Fountainhead Productions; Miracle Man for Throw-Down Productions; Bambina Mia, Call Ya Later, and Luck Be A Lady for Piccini Productions; Love Game, From Womb to Tomb, and Shades of Day for V.M. Productions; and the narration for the documentary, Christmas Village USA, produced by Argentine Dream Productions.

In 2006 Jeff retired from his "day job" grinding out feature film scripts as a salaried co-writer, and has been able to work exclusively on his own projects.



Mark Durel     -     Staff Writer      
 

Mark Durel is a writer/producer with a combined background in Production and Business Development who has excelled at moving ideas from concept to execution.

In his 15+ years in the entertainment business, Mark has worked with Harpo Films, Mandalay Pictures, MGM, Lifetime Television, and New Regency. He has been on the production teams for such projects as Oprah Winfrey Presents, For One More Day, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Denzel Washington’s The Great Debaters, Robert DeNiro’s The Score, Johnny Depp’s Sleepy Hollow, and Brad Pitt’s Seven Years in Tibet.

Mark resides in Los Angeles, CA.
